Call Hold is usually a function of the handset that you are using. Not all handsets will have the ability to hold a call. Please refer to your handsets user manual to determine whether your handset is compatible. Usually all VoIP Deskphones will have a Call Hold button.

When a call is placed on hold the caller usually will hear hold music. VoIP Deskphones will typically utilise Hold Music that can be configured in the Online Control Panel. Other types of phone will usually use hold music that has been imported into the handset itself, or will play a message.

You will need to refer to your handset manual to determine whether the hold music utilised can be changed.
